GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) - 2025-02-03

 Article 1 This contract is intended for the exclusive use of the customer in booking stays in Les Terrasses d'Antonin bed and breakfast and gîtes, marketed by LTA LUBERON S.A.S., 1 montée des Remparts, Grambois, also referred to as the owner in the contract.

The customer is the term used to describe the reserving host or tenant and the group of people accommodated at the end of the contract.

Guests will receive the warmest of welcomes. The owner undertakes to welcome them personally with all due attention to facilitate their stay and knowledge of the region.
Under no circumstances shall LTA LUBERON S.A.S. be held liable for the use of its contracts by third parties or for non-tourist purposes.

Article 2 - Length of stay
The customer who signs this contract, which is concluded for a fixed term, may under no circumstances claim any right to remain in the premises.

Article 3 - Pricing : Prices include all charges as shown in the description, but exclude tourist tax.

Article 4 - Conclusion of the contract The reservation becomes effective once the customer has sent the owner a deposit of 30 % of the total price of the stay with a minimum of one night per room booked.

When you book online on our website, the description of the accommodation and the acceptance of the GTCS take the place of a contract.

When a booking is made by post or telephone, a contract is sent to the customer by e-mail. It includes :

- a summary sheet containing a description of the accommodation, the number of rooms, the number of people, the departure and arrival dates and times, the price including VAT with the amount of the deposit and the balance, the amount of the tourist tax as well as the price of additional services, the amount of the deposit (for the rental of gîtes) and the validity date of the offer.

- the General Terms and Conditions.

The signed contract is returned to LTA LUBERON. A copy is kept by the customer.

Article 4 - No right of withdrawal For bookings made by post, telephone or internet, the tenant does not benefit from the withdrawal period, in accordance with article L121-21-8 of the French Consumer Code, relating in particular to accommodation services provided on a specific date or at a specific time.

Article 5 - Cancellation by the customer : All cancellations must be notified to the owner by letter or e-mail.

1- Cancellation before the start of the holiday: if the cancellation is made more than 24 hours before the start of the holiday, the deposit will be retained by the owner.
If the cancellation is made less than 24 hours before the start of the stay, the deposit will be retained by the owner, who also reserves the right to demand payment of the balance of the price of the stay.

2- If the customer does not show up before 7 p.m. on the day scheduled for the start of the stay, this contract becomes null and void and the owner may dispose of his guest rooms. The deposit remains the property of the owner, who reserves the right to demand payment of the balance of the price of the stay.

3- In the event of a shortened stay, the price corresponding to the initial stay will be retained in full by the owner.

Any additional services not used will be reimbursed.

LTA LUBERON S.A.S. would like to draw your attention to the fact that cancellation insurance is not included in its prices. We therefore strongly recommend that you take out cancellation insurance with an insurer of your choice.

Article 6 - Cancellation by the owner When the owner cancels the holiday before the start date, he must inform the customer by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt.
Without prejudice to any claims for damages, the customer will immediately receive a full refund by cheque or bank transfer of the sums already paid. They will also receive compensation equal to at least 30% of the amount of the reservation, excluding additional services.

Article 7 - Capacity The present contract is drawn up for a specific number of people. If the number of guests exceeds this number, the owner is entitled to refuse additional guests.
This refusal can in no way be considered as a modification or breach of contract on the initiative of the owner, so that in the event of the departure of a greater number of customers than those refused, no reimbursement can be considered.

Article 8 - Change of room : Without you being able to claim any compensation, LTA LUBERON SAS reserves the right to change the room you initially booked for a room of the same or higher category. In this case, the cost of the reservation remains unchanged.

Article 9 - Arrival : The customer must arrive on the day and at the time specified in this contract. In the event of late or delayed arrival, the customer must inform the owner.

Article 10 - Departure The customer must vacate the premises on the day and at the latest at the time stated on this contract. In the event of late departure, LTA LUBERON S.A.S. reserves the right to charge an additional night.

Article 11 - Payment of the balance The balance of the booking must be paid on arrival.
A final invoice will be issued at the end of your stay, on the morning of your departure date, and will include the amount of your stay or the balance of your stay, as well as any additional consumption and services not included in the booking. As well as the tourist tax (see article 12).

Consumption and additional services not mentioned in this contract must be paid to the owner at the end of the stay.

Your final invoice can be paid :

- by credit card (Carte Bleue, Visa or Mastercard). American Express cards are not accepted.

- in cash.

- by cheque drawn on a French bank. For company cheques, a K-BIS extract and proof of identity are required).

Article 12 - Tourist tax Tourist tax is a local tax that customers must pay to the owner, who then passes it on to the Treasury. Tourist tax applies :

- per night,

- to each adult resident

Article 13 - Living rules and use of the premises : LTA LUBERON S.A.S. cannot be held responsible for any problems arising from failure to comply with the following prohibitions, obligations and recommendations.

Article 13 a. Rules and recommendations applicable to guest rooms and gites :

The customer must respect the peaceful nature of the premises and use them in accordance with their intended purpose. They undertake to return the rooms and gîtes in good condition.

Customers are expected to behave courteously at all times towards anyone else present on the premises, such as other customers, visitors, maintenance staff or owners.

It is forbidden to smoke or light candles in the room(s) you occupy or in any communal area. For the well-being of all guests, smoking is not permitted on the pool deck.

Correct dress is required in the residence. Wearing Swimming costumes are compulsory at the pool and in the SPA.

At the end of the stay, the customer undertakes to return the room(s) and/or gîte(s) occupied in the same condition as on arrival (apart from cleaning) and to systematically declare any damage for which he/she is responsible and to cover the consequences financially.

Apart from the swimming pools, guests are free to use the room(s) and/or gîte(s) they occupy and the communal areas during their stay, without any time restrictions. However, for the comfort and peace of mind of all guests, it is recommended to avoid noise pollution at night.

You are also urged not to throw anything into the toilets other than the toilet paper provided.

The customer must not use the towels provided to remove make-up or clean shoes. LTA LUBERON SAS reserves the right to invoice the cost of replacing towels and/or linen stained by these products.

If you forget any belongings in your room at the end of your stay, they can be sent to you at your request and expense.

Swimming in the pool is only permitted during opening hours: 10am to 10pm. It is forbidden to eat or consume alcohol on the beach or in the pool. As swimming is unsupervised, children must be actively supervised at all times by their parents.

Use of the indoor SPA is only possible during opening hours (10am to 11pm) and by reservation. A shower is compulsory before entering the bath. It is forbidden to eat or drink in the SPA room. The SPA is not recommended pregnant women, people with cardiovascular or kidney problems and young children.

LTA LUBERON S.A.S. cannot be held responsible for any loss, theft and/or damage or injury caused to goods and/or persons on the property, whatever the cause.

Minors on the property are the sole responsibility of their parents or guardians.

Article 13 b. Rules and recommendations specific to guest rooms :

Breakfast is served from 8am to 10am in the kitchen/dining room or on the panoramic outdoor terrace, depending on the season and the weather.

Guests are not free to use the kitchen in the guest rooms.

The panoramic terrace is no longer accessible to customers after 8pm or after the table d'hôtes service on restaurant evenings.

Article 13 c.: Rules and recommendations applicable to gites :

At the end of your stay, the gîtes must be returned with the bins emptied, the crockery clean and tidy, and the hob, oven, tables and work surfaces clean.

Barbecues are not permitted. Planchas are available in the gîtes.

Article 14 - Use of the car park made available to you : Les Terrasses d'Antonin has a 5-car car park on its premises, for use by guests staying in the guest rooms.

With the exception of the day of arrival and departure, when a vehicle may be temporarily parked on the road in front of the entrance while luggage is unloaded and loaded, vehicles may be parked in the car park during your stay.

Parking for gîte tenants' vehicles is not permitted in the residence, unless agreed by the owners.

LTA LUBERON S.A.S. cannot be held responsible for any damage to parked vehicles, theft or break-ins during the stay.

Article 15 - Animals Pets are not allowed in the guest rooms, however a cat lives at home but the latter is forbidden to go into the bedrooms!

Dogs are only allowed in the gîtes with the written agreement of the owner. Should the customer fail to comply with this clause, the owner may refuse to accept the animals.
Under no circumstances can this refusal be considered as a modification or breach of contract on the initiative of the owner, so that in the event of the customer leaving, no refund can be considered.
Dogs may roam freely in private areas (inside the gîtes and on the terraces), provided they are enclosed. They must be kept on a lead in communal areas. Pets are not allowed on the beach, in the swimming pool or in the SPA room.

The pet owner is responsible for removing and cleaning up any excrement left on the property.

Article 16 - Disputes Any complaint must be addressed to LTA LUBERON S.A.S., 1 Montée des Remparts, 84240 Grambois by registered letter as soon as possible.

In the absence of a response or agreement from the 2 parties (customer and LTA LUBERON S.A.S.) on a compromise, the customer or owner may refer the matter to the consumer ombudsman.

These provisions are without prejudice to any legal action taken by the customer or the owner.

Article 17 - Liability insurance : The customer certifies that he/she is of legal age and that the persons accommodated under the contract are covered by civil liability insurance.

LTA LUBERON S.A.S. certifies that it holds an insurance policy covering its Professional Civil Liability arising from its bed and breakfast and table d'hôte activities.

Opening
Les Terrasses d'Antonin will open on 1 May 2025, but bookings are now open!
